mudPepper uses classic sgraffito techniques to achieve amazing graphic texturing on her pottery. Through the use of craving tools she covers her pieces in black slip and draws as she carves. The inspiration comes from nature and various architectural elements. Pieces take from 2 hours to 4 hours to carve before firing. Most pieces can take 3 days to complete when the firing cools.
